Job Title: Cover Supervisor

Salary: £100 - £120 per day

TeacherActive are proud to be working with an exceptional Primary School based in Basildon. The school are seeking an experienced Cover Supervisor to join their team on a 1 year fixed term basis. The school has fantastic learning facilities and great staff to support you both inside and outside of the classroom. Due to their commitment to learning, they have recently received a ‘Good’ OFSTED rating.

Our Cover Supervisors play a vital role in schools, whether on a day to day, long-term or permanent basis. The role of a Cover Supervisor doesn’t include planning and preparation, however strong communication and classroom management skills are a must.

The successful Cover Supervisor will have:

CACHE LEVEL 2/3 OR 6 months experience
Be confident in their ability to manage a class of students within the age range 11 to 16+
Be able to manage behaviour in the classroom to ensure students remain engaged
Be flexible to work throughout the school within different departments and with different age ranges daily
