We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Structural Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be in the final stages of working towards Chartered Engineer status and have a solid foundation in structural engineering principles. This role involves contributing to the design, analysis, and delivery of structural projects across various sectors, including residential, commercial, educational and industrial projects.
Key Responsibilities for this Structural Engineer:
Run with some autonomy smaller to mid-sized projects but also be central to work on bigger projects with more senior input
Assist in the management of structural engineering projects from conception through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
Identify and resolve any structural issues that arise during construction, providing technical support to site teams.
Liaise with clients to understand their needs and provide engineering solutions that meet their requirements.
Ensure all designs comply with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.Skills and Qualifications for this Structural Engineer:
Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering with a focus on structural engineering, or a related field.
In the final stages of achieving Chartered Engineer status with a recognized engineering institution (e.g., ICE, IStructE).
5+ years of relevant experience in structural engineering, with exposure to various types of projects.
Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g., ETABS, STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, AutoCAD).
Ability to analyse complex structural problems and develop innovative and practical solutions.Salary & Benefits:
