Maintenance Manager

Salary: Circa £60k - £63k

Shifts: Days Monday to Friday

A local Engineering company who are looking for a Maintenance Manager to join their team.

Purpose of Role – Maintenance Manager

* Managing a team of 10 maintenance engineers

* Create and maintain a planned, preventative maintenance programme (PPM)

* React, diagnose and fix machinery

* Fault find and diagnostics

* Manage and negotiate supplier contracts

* To deliver agreed plans and budgets, including established level of servicing

* To control all Engineering cost lines through robust planning and auditing

* This position will be very hands on, you will be expected to get involved with fixing and repair of machinery.

Candidate requirements – Maintenance Manager

The ideal candidate must come from the engineering industry as a Maintenance Manager. You will also have the following skills, qualifications and experience:

* Ideally hold an engineering qualification such as C&G, HNC, HND or similar

* Experience gained ideally in recycling or heavy industry

* Experience within mechanical Engineering

* Have a hands on and pro-active approach to engineering
