About the Role:
We are recruiting on behalf of a leading national housing developer for an experienced Customer Care/Service Coordinator based in Northampton. As a key player within the customer care team, you will be responsible for ensuring homeowners receive exceptional support throughout their post-purchase journey. This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for problem-solving, making it perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Act as the first point of contact for homeowners post-completion, handling queries and complaints with professionalism and care.
* Efficiently coordinate and schedule service appointments, repairs, and maintenance between customers, site teams, and contractors.
* Manage and resolve issues in a timely manner, ensuring customers are regularly updated and satisfied with the outcomes.
* Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions, service requests, and resolutions using CRM systems.
* Liaise with site managers, contractors, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and swift issue resolution.
* Monitor outstanding tasks and follow up to ensure timely completion.
* Assist with the preparation of reports on customer care performance.
Key Requirements:
* Previous experience in a customer service or service coordination role, ideally within construction, property, or housing development.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to handle customer concerns effectively and professionally.
* Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.
* A proactive, problem-solving mindset and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiar with CRM systems.
* Knowledge of housing development processes is advantageous but not essential.
