Rare opportunity for a Quality engineer to join a sucessful expanding engineering company with a short term sucesssion plan to become Quality manager.

The role support and succeeds the current Quality Manager upon their retirement. It's an excellent opportunity to advance your experience with quality systems in a varied and dynamic manufacturing environment.

About the Role:

You will oversee quality systems across a diverse range of engineering disciplines, including aerospace and medical parts manufacturing, sheet metal, and construction metalwork. Your expertise in managing and auditing quality systems, following up on corrective actions, conducting supplier audits, and representing the company to clients on quality matters will be crucial.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate across the company to develop and implement robust quality control processes.
Conduct inspections, audits, and root cause analyses to identify and address areas for improvement.
Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with stringent quality standards.
Provide training and guidance to employees on quality-related topics, fostering a culture of excellence.
Work closely with suppliers to maintain high-quality materials and standards.
