We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our clients team. Our clients are an Award-winning organization with over 20 years of supporting regional and local communities through training and education. In this hybrid role, you will identify and nurture strategic business alliances with both levy and non-levy companies. Your primary objective will be to advocate and market our extensive range of apprenticeship programs. This will involve focusing on significant growth sectors within the region and potentially using your network to expand into new areas. Success in this role will require close collaboration with our Business Development Team, as well as our marketing and operations departments.
This is a hybrid role, working from home covering the North West. Travel to Derby once a month.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain a robust pipeline to drive business growth
* Contribute to business planning and performance tracking for effective account management
* Gain in-depth knowledge of key employers, sectors, and opportunities to fuel innovation and expansion
* Identify and target key employers or employer groups in collaboration with the marketing team
* Provide timely and accurate updates and reports
* Build strong relationships with internal colleagues to ensure exceptional service delivery
* Ensure all Information, Advice, and Guidance provided to employers and learners is comprehensive and informative
* Enroll suitable learners and employers into appropriate apprenticeship programs
Requirements:
* Proven experience in business development and account management
* Strong understanding of apprenticeship programs and the education sector
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
* Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners
* Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities
