ELECTRICAL SERVICES MANAGER, Merseyside
To oversee the electrical services workshop, ensuring targets and KPIs are met with a strong commitment to rotating equipment repairs. Your role will involve overseeing a team of electrical fitters and be responsible for: -
* Oversee the shopfloor and electrical engineers
* Have a technical background to provide expert advice to clients and the workshop on electric motor repairs, turbines, generators, gearboxes with a motor on, or a pump with a motor
* Quote and review repair costs
* Ensure health and safety is adhered to at all times
* Oversee engineers work on site
* Providing customer services
* Maintain workshop equipment.
* Manage workshop staff and recruitment.
* Ensure timely job progression.
* Liaise with customers and suppliers.
* Oversee site work and safety documentation.
* Manage KPIs, call-out rota, and housekeeping.
* Suggest new services and partnerships.

To apply you must have
* A background in repairs and services of electrical rotating equipment including motors, gearboxes with motors on, pumps with motors on, generators, turbines
* Management or supervisory experience in this industry, or a senior background
* An engineering qualification is preferred from to degree level in a relevant engineering discipline, but will look at time-served apprenticeship
* Experience within the motor/rotating equipment repair field and evidence of training by original equipment manufacturers
* Strong IT skills
