About the Role:

As a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant, you will support a student with learning difficulties within a mainstream classroom setting. Your role will involve helping the student access the curriculum, fostering a positive learning environment, and adapting resources to meet their needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 support for a student with learning difficulties in mainstream classes
Adapt learning materials and assist in delivering lessons to support the student's individual learning plan
Encourage and support the student's social and emotional development
Work collaboratively with teachers, SEN staff, and parents

Requirements:

Experience in working with students with special educational needs (essential)
Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A commitment to promoting an inclusive learning environmentQualifications are not required, but relevant experience is essential.
