Company Overview:

Our client is a well-known blue chip manufacturing business supplying to top tier OEMs around the world. An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Engineering department for a Process Engineer, it is reporting to the Process Engineering Team Leader. This role offers a chance to develop a comprehensive understanding of our Engineering processes and make a significant impact on our operations within the business.

Requirements of a Process Engineer:

* A minimum of 5 + years’ experience as a Process Engineer in a manufacturing environment.

* Strong knowledge of process optimisation techniques and lean manufacturing principles.

* The Process Engineer will hold a HNC or HND in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or a closely relatable field.

Key Responsibilities of a Process Engineer:

* Develop, implement and improve new and existing manufacturing processes.

* Programme management of a portfolio of products.

* Interaction with customers to understand technical requirements and resolve issues.

* Troubleshoot manufacturing problems and conduct root cause analysis to resolve issues.

* Reviewing and approving customer specifications on parts made to manufacture.
