Key Responsibilities

* Supporting Learning: Assisting teachers in delivering lessons, working with small groups or individual students to reinforce learning.

* Classroom Management: Helping manage student behavior, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.

* Resource Preparation: Preparing materials and resources needed for lessons, such as worksheets and displays.

* Supporting Special Needs: Providing targeted support for students with special educational needs or disabilities.

* Administrative Tasks: Assisting with tasks like marking work, record-keeping, and organizing classroom resources.

Job Requirements

* Previous experience working with children as a teaching assistant

* Relevant Level 2 or above qualifications in education, childcare, or special education

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.

* Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children with diverse learning needs.

* Ability to adapt to the individual needs and learning styles of students.

* A commitment to continuous professional development and learning.
