Job Title: Technical NetSuite Consultant (SuiteScript Specialist & Trainer)
Location: London OR Norwich (Must be UK Based)
Employment Type: Contract Outside IR35
Are you an experienced Technical NetSuite Consultant with advanced SuiteScript skills who can also provide training and support to internal teams? If so, I may have the role for you!
This role involves designing, developing, and implementing custom NetSuite solutions, as well as training end-users and technical staff on optimised NetSuite use, SuiteScript capabilities, and best practices. Ideally you will have a strong background in SuiteScript development, NetSuite configuration, and user training.
Key Responsibilities:

SuiteScript Development: Design, develop, and maintain custom scripts (SuiteScript 1.0, 2.0, and 2.1) to automate and enhance NetSuite functionality, including client, user-event, scheduled, and RESTlet scripts.
NetSuite Customization: Customize forms, records, workflows, and dashboards to meet business requirements.
System Integration: Collaborate with other developers and third-party vendors to integrate NetSuite with external applications using SuiteTalk (SOAP/REST APIs).
Technical Troubleshooting: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve system and performance issues related to customizations and integrations.
Process Optimization: Analyze and improve existing NetSuite processes to optimize efficiency and user experience.
User Support and Training: Conduct training sessions and workshops for users and technical staff, providing guidance on NetSuite use, SuiteScript, and configuration best practices.
Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Create comprehensive documentation for customizations, workflows, integrations, and training materials to ensure users and future developers understand the solutions implemented.Qualifications:

Experience: 3+ years of hands-on NetSuite development experience, with a focus on SuiteScript (proficiency in SuiteScript 1.0 and 2.0 required; 2.1 is a plus).
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in JavaScript, with experience in backend and frontend scripting within NetSuite.
Strong understanding of SuiteFlow, SuiteBuilder, and NetSuite’s data model.
Experience with SuiteTalk, RESTlet, or other NetSuite integration tools.
Knowledge of SuiteCloud Development Framework (SDF) is a plus.
Training Experience: Proven experience in conducting user training and preparing training materials, including guides and tutorials.
Analytical Skills: Ability to assess and improve current processes, develop solutions to complex business requirements, and troubleshoot effectively.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams, present technical concepts to non-technical users, and lead training sessions.
Certification: NetSuite Certification (SuiteFoundation, Administrator, or Developer) is preferred but not required
