Looking for a short-term role to gain some additional experience? Take on this two-month placement where you’ll use your administrative skills to support a friendly team in Glasgow.

Your rate of pay and hours of work
This is a two-month placement with a Monday to Friday schedule, working from 9 AM to 5 PM. The role offers a pay rate of £12.50 per hour, paid weekly, with holiday pay accrued and includes free on-site parking for convenience.

Responsibilities within your new role as an Accounts Administrator
This role provides essential administrative support to the team by organising travel, preparing internal documents, processing purchase orders, submitting orders, and managing correspondence for management and colleagues. It also involves signing in contractors and visitors, performing regular safety checks, and overseeing general site safety. Additionally, responsibilities include packaging orders, producing labels, coordinating transport to clients, maintaining stock records, and managing incoming and outgoing logistics with couriers.

Your experience, qualifications and personality
To excel in this role, you should demonstrate outstanding communication skills and have a professional yet approachable demeanor. Strong telephone etiquette is essential, as well as the ability to handle customer inquiries with patience and clarity. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel is required, and a positive attitude and a customer-focused approach will be key assets in contributing to a supportive and productive team environment.
