Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Deputy General Manager to join our client’s prestigious establishment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing high-end restaurants or 5-star hotel food and beverage operations in Central London. This role requires exceptional leadership skills and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient service.

* Manage and train staff to uphold the highest standards of service and hospitality.

* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

* Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to maintain quality and consistency in food and beverage offerings.

* Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.

* Support marketing and promotional activities to enhance the restaurant’s reputation and drive business growth.

* Maintain inventory and manage budgets effectively.

Requirements:

* Proven experience in a managerial role within a high-end restaurant or 5-star hotel food and beverage department.

* Strong understanding of Japanese cuisine and fine dining service standards.

* Exceptional leadership and team management skills.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

* Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
