Role Overview:

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a key role in maintaining the continuity of education when regular teachers are absent.

You will be responsible for supervising students during lessons, ensuring they stay on task, and providing a supportive environment for learning. You will ensure that students follow the teacher's instructions, complete tasks, and behave appropriately.

Key Responsibilities:

* Supervise students during lessons in the absence of their regular teacher.

* Ensure students engage with assigned work and complete tasks to the best of their ability.

* Manage student behaviour in line with school policies and expectations.

* Support the teaching staff in maintaining an effective and productive classroom environment.

* Provide feedback to teachers regarding student behaviour, progress, and completion of work.

* Assist with the preparation and organization of classroom resources, as needed.

* Help maintain a positive and respectful atmosphere in the school.

Key Requirements:

* Experience working with children or young people, preferably in an educational setting.

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

* Excellent classroom management abilities.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Patience, resilience, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

* A passion for supporting students in their learning and development.
