9am – 5pm Monday to Friday (one day home working) (37.5 hours a week)

£27,500 - £30,000 DOE

Prince is working with a rapidly growing manufacturing business based in Shrewsbury to recruit for an Internal Sales Executive. Our client is looking for someone who is enthusiastic, confident and customer-oriented and whose primary role will be to offer a first-class customer service. This is a newly created role in the company structure, where you will join the small and highly dedicated sales / estimating team where you will work closely with the field-based Sales Director to handle any actions following meetings and doing that follow-up sales activity that is essential to securing the deal. Therefore, you will be doing little-no cold calling activity from a sales perspective, this role is more focused on warm / existing clients to progress tenders / quotations to an actual order.

You will be mainly office based at the Shrewsbury Head Office, looking after our customers, as well as keeping up to speed with responsive daily sales tasks. You will be responsible for ensuring that you uphold the highest levels of customer service, a highly motived individual who prides themselves on building strong and longstanding customer relationships.

Duties will include:

* Answering inbound telephone enquiries from new and existing customers.

* Processing new sales enquiries with customers with high levels of accuracy.

* Dealing with inbound customer email enquiries.

* Processing and following up customer quotations in a timely manner.

* Updating & maintaining the data entry on the CRM System.

* Conduct research on market trends and competitor activity & products.

* Seeking out opportunities for growth within an existing client base through cold calling and emailing.

* Liaising internally with the purchasing and operational delivery team to ensure customers get their bridge deliveries and installations on time.

* Proactively speaking to the existing client base and building strong and trustworthy relationships.

* Working closely with the Sales and Estimating team to develop strategies and achieve sales targets.

* Developing an in-depth knowledge of our products, services and benefits.

* Utilising virtual meetings to build relationships with new and existing clients.

* Setting up face-to-face meetings between potential customers and external representatives of the company.

Skills and Experience

* Genuine sales drive and a passion to provide our customer with phenomenal service

* Diligence and accuracy with attention to detail

* Strong interpersonal and communication skills

* Strong PC literacy skills and used to using inhouse CRM systems

* A can-do positive attitude
