We are seeking an Assistant Estimator who can also handle some small Quantity Surveying duties or a Quantity Surveyor willing to take on estimating responsibilities. This role is 90% estimating, with a focus on locality, and offers a competitive salary based on experience.

Job Overview:

As an Assistant Estimator for our office fit-out projects, you will play a crucial role in accurately estimating project costs, communicating with clients and being involved in the tendering process alongside the usual estimating duties. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on locality, ensuring a deep understanding of the Northwest market, particularly Manchester. This role is open to individuals with 1 to 5 years of experience, with salary negotiable based on expertise.

Responsibilities:

Estimation: Conduct detailed and accurate cost estimates for office fit-out projects.

Locality Focus: Predominant focus on Manchester.

Tendering: Project values are usually within the £20,000 to £500,000 range.

Experience Range: Open to candidates with 1 to 5 years of relevant experience.

Cost control, budget management, and contract administration.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in estimating for office fit-out projects.

Knowledge of Quantity Surveying processes is advantageous.

Strong understanding of the Northwest market, particularly Manchester.

Package:

Competitive salary ranging from £25,000 to £45,000, negotiable based on experience.
