Role: HR Advisor

Type: Permanent Full-time (Part-time considered)

Salary: £30,000 - £39,000

Location: Herefordshire

Hybrid working with on-site meetings when required

Sellick Partnership are recruiting for an HR Advisor for our Public Sector client.

The post holder will be the nominated HR advisor for the assigned divisions/directorate and will be responsible for the provision of a comprehensive range of employment services within those divisions.

Key responsibilities for the HR Advisor are;

Responsible for HR case work such as TUPE, redundancy, grievance, disciplinary, and sick leave management
You will be working within the Education Sector and offering guidance in accordance with regulations specific to schools, such as the School Teachers' Pay & Conditions Document, the Burgundy Book, and the School Staffing Regulations
Assist customers with casework related to employee relations via email, phone, teams, and in-person
Serve as a detective for a range of employment-related issues and produce written reports
Actively engaged in the creation of HR policies and procedures for schools, closely collaborating with trade union leaders
Create and present training programs for clients covering a range of HR subjects.The Ideal candidate for the HR Advisor will have;

CIPD Qualified or Studying or Equivalent
Experience in Education Sector ideal
Track record of operating in an HR environment
Experience in Absence Management ideal
HR Public Sector experience ideal
A solid understanding of employment law
