Location: East Anglia (with UK travel)
Salary: £26,000 - £40,000 (depending on experience)

Are you practical, hands-on, and looking to grow with a thriving business? We’re hiring a Fire Door Inspector to join our growing team. Whether you're experienced in fire door inspections or have a background in carpentry, DIY, or general handy work, we want to hear from you!
 
The Role:
You’ll be responsible for inspecting fire doors across sites in East Anglia and occasionally throughout the UK, ensuring compliance with current fire safety regulations. Your day-to-day tasks will include:

Conducting thorough fire door inspections on-site
Quoting for any required remedial work
Liaising with the technical team to schedule fitters and technicians
Assisting with installations in the early stages of training
Providing excellent customer service during site visits
Staying away from home occasionally (all expenses covered)  
What We’re Looking For:

Ideally, some experience in fire door inspections (preferred, not essential)
Carpentry, DIY, or handy person experience is highly desirable
Strong communication and customer service skills
Willingness to travel and occasionally stay overnight
Full UK driving licence
