Assistant Accountant

Location: Trafford Park

Salary: £26,000 - £28,000

Axon Moore are partnering with a leading client in their field, a client who we have worked with closely for a number of years to appoint a permanent full time Assistant Accountant.

This is an excellent opportunity to expand and diversify your finance experience into a business that is continuing to grow!

You will join as part of the wider finance team and working closely with the finance leaders.

Daily Duties:

Maintaining accounts via SAGE
Journal entries, invoice processing and expenses
Processing of multicurrency payments
Bank reconciliations and managing petty cash
Prepare prepayments, accruals and maintenance of fixed asset register
Quarterly VAT returns
Personal Experience:

Working towards or achieved AAT L3
Experience in a similar finance assistant / accounts assistant position
Ideally experienced in SAGE 50
Possess strong analytical skills
Motivated to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills - able to communicate financial information in a way that non-financial people can understand it
