Sonographer’s Required

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, motivated and experienced sonographer to join our ultrasound service based in North London.

Salary/Rate: This varies depending on experience and the types of scans you can do.

Position Type: Locum ongoing – (outside of IR35)

Locations: Our hub locations are in Northeast London.

* Barking, Havering and Redbridge

* Tower Hamlets

* Waltham Forest

* Newham

What will the role entail?

To assist the Ultrasound Clinical Lead with the organisation and supervision of junior/new staff within ultrasound

* To provide a high standard of work as agreed by the service demands

* To ensure that the ultrasound examinations of patients are carried out efficiently, consistent with keeping to the standard required

With the exception of Obstetrics, we offer a full range of ultrasound examinations. You should possess various skills and be experienced in performing/reporting the following sonographic examinations:

* Abdominal

* Scrotal

* Renal

* Gynaecology (Transvaginal, Transabdominal)

* MSK

* Vascular

Female pelvis TA+TV, abdomen, renal, bladder pre- and post-, testes, abdominal wall, MSK. These are the scans the client offers in the service.

What do you need?

Current HCPC Registration

* Ultrasound experience within the UK

* Applicants must be able to scan and report independently but work as part of a team with a Clinical Support Worker

* The successful applicant will have obtained a Postgraduate qualification in Medical Ultrasound and completed a minimum of 900 ultrasound scans reported in the last 12 months.

* Must be HCPC registered
