MC Technical Recruitment are currently seeking an Operations Manager to manage & support the safe operations of a wood recycling plant. Our client is a leading organisation within the Waste Management sector, with the opportunity for an experience manager to join their team based in Runcorn.

As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for:

Day to day running of the site including health & safety, customer relations and P&L objectives
Managing and supporting the team in the safe operation of the recycling operations
Controlling and managing of waste inputs
Ensuring the facility is operating within its permits
Stakeholder management including the local community, EA, and senior management team
Administrative duties
Other duties as required
To be considered, you should have:

Experience managing people and managing change
Previous experience of wood treatment plant and equipment ideally, or experience within the recycling sector
A good understanding of plant and vehicles used across a recycling site
COTC for Non-Hazardous Treatment
Good health & safety knowledge
Strong communication skills
Previous experience dealing with the EA and quality management systems is desirable
Driving licence and rights to work in the UK are essential
