My client is a Global leading Aerospace and Defence organisation. Recruiting for a Estimating Manager with the responsibility to understand business requirements and develop cost analysis and costing/pricing strategies.

Responsibilities:

Establishment of robust estimating & pricing plans and selection of effective and appropriate cost estimating methods to meet the pricing requirements
Coordinating cost and pricing activities to ensure all aspects of the programme and associated risks are fully costed and considered
Generating cost and pricing models to meet the needs of the programme and business requirements
Leading price negotiations
Collecting historical cost, programme and technical data from bids and actual programmes for use in near neighbour analysis
Deliver briefings to senior stakeholders (both internal and external)

Required experience:

People Management experience
Senior Stakeholder management and engagement (both internal and external)
Currently operating within or has relevant operational/business experience in cost analysis, planning, forecasting or business modelling/analysis
Advanced MS Excel skills to be utilised in modelling and analysis with an analytical mind set and investigative approach with excellent numeracy skills
Educated to a degree standard e.g. Maths, Statistics, Business, Engineering, Economics or equivalent experience
Knowledge and experience of working overseas in a Business environment
