Role Title: Wintel Desktop Engineer

Duration: contract to run until 21/10/2026

Location: Remote but occasional travel to Wokingham, Warwick

Rate: up to £567p/d Umbrella Inside IR35

Eligibility for SC clearance is required for this role

Role purpose / summary

Our client is looking for a Wintel Desktop Engineer to join the team!

Key Skills/ requirements

Sitting within their Critical National Infrastructure team - BAU tasks may include routine tasks such as:

Infrastructure management
Network monitoring
Software patching
Hardware driver updates
Troubleshooting - working a problem to its eventual resolution - also falls under this remit.
There is also a CNI Tech refresh discovery project which these resources will also be assisting with redemation to proactively optimize the estate for greater efficiency, resilience, and long-term value.
