Fantastic opportunity to get into the booming data centre sector without prior experience on these projects.

Due to several recent project wins we are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a very well-established and very successful international Building Services Engineering Consultancy who are market leaders in the data centre industry.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* The Mechanical Design Engineer will support the wider design team in providing mechanical services design RIBA stages 2-4 on major hyperscale data centre projects.

* The Mechanical Design Engineer will be assisting with design development on high-value and varied projects.

* The Mechanical Design Engineer will be given the opportunity to represent the business at Design Team and Client Meetings.

SKILLS AND BACKGROUND

* The Mechanical Design Engineer will be qualified to MEng or BEng Degree level or equivalent in either mechanical engineering or building services engineering.

* Relevant experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer within a consultancy is essential.

* The Mechanical Design Engineer will be ideally working towards Chartered status through CIBSE or the IMechE however not essential.

* The Mechanical Engineer will have a stable work history and experience of working on a range of projects within the built environment.
