My client based in the York area are currently looking for a Sales Ledger Clerk. This is an exciting chance to join a well known and well respected business in York.

* Overseeing sales ledger accounts to maintain precision and up-to-date records.

* Keeping track of and addressing bad debt, including spotting overdue accounts.

* Distributing payments, pursuing overdue accounts, and resolving queries.

* Supporting month-end tasks like preparing over trading reports and approving credit increases.

* Conducting monthly reconciliations of cash sales.

* Creating and dispatching invoices and account statements to clients.

* Managing and evaluating new credit applications.
