Senior Buyer required for an established organisation, paying an annual salary of £45,000. Working hours are Monday - Friday, 7.30am - 4.30pm.

If a candidate is available immediately, the role may start on a temp too perm basis.

Candidates applying must have previous experience in the manufacturing industry.

Duties:

Procurement planning:

Forecast levels of demands, price trends
Conduct research to source the best products and suppliers for best value delivery and quality
Purchasing materials
Inventory managementProcurement management:

Assist in managing procurement operations
Negotiate and agree contracts, monitor quality
Maintain suppler relationships
Attend overseas supplier meetings and trade conferencesBenefits:

Senior buying experience is desirable
CIPS qualified or working toward
Ability to organise a busy and varied workload, remain calm under pressure, and proactive in approach to tasks
