Pod Talent is excited to partner up with a mission-driven consumer goods business who are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Planning Manager to join their team in East Sussex (3 days in the office).

In this role, you will play a crucial role in forecasting, planning, and managing the company’s inventory levels ensuring optimal product cover while minimising excess stock and associated costs.

In this role, you will:

Ensure all Demand Forecasting and S&OP activities are completed for all the products.
Collaborate with the Commercial and Marketing teams to evaluate factors that will influence demand and subsequently develop an unbiased and unconstrained forecast over a 24-month horizon within IBP.
Own the consolidation of all channel forecasts and translate to presentation format in volume and value.
Support supply planning to deliver on time and in full dispatch to customers at optimal inventory levels through confidence in the plan and by ensuring key forecast decisions are made with the appropriate amount of lead time to ensure successful execution.
Maintain IBP master data and drive improved ways of working within the system.
Own and present demand consensus clearly identifying the gap between demand and financial forecasts along with aligned Risk and Opportunities.
Execute and feed into the S&OP Process by producing, interpreting, and drawing conclusions from data and subsequently coordinating all actions and lead the continuing development of the S&OP process ensuring all stakeholders understand their role and responsibilities within it.
Ensure execution of a detailed schedule of activities within the S&OP cycle.
About you:

3 + years of experience in Supply & Demand Planning ideally within in Food & Bev/Cosmetics/Pharma
Experience in building and managing forecasts at a component level and understanding each components relationship with parent SKUs
SME or start up experience is essential
Highly analytical, can build strong working relationships and has a genuine proactive and ‘can do’ attitude
Excellent prioritization & organizational skills 
High energy, willingness to learn with growth mindset
Ability to work within deadlines/under pressure
