About the role:

Design and implement engaging music lessons aligned with the school curriculum
Teach students how to play various instruments, fostering both individual and group skills.
Organise and lead school concerts, recitals, and community performances to showcase student talents.
Maintain a positive and structured learning environment that supports all students.
Encourage students to express themselves through music, promoting creativity and confidence.
Work closely with other teachers and staff to integrate music across different subjects and enhance overall learning.
Provide guidance on vocal techniques and performance skills for choirs and individual singers.
The ideal candidate must:

Have the right to work within the UK
Have experience working within a classroom
DBS registered on the update system or willing to purchase one
Be comfortable and adaptable working in different environments
Good knowledge of the Music Curriculum
Marking and planning are compulsory with this role
Have strong classroom management skills.
A QTS or PGCE or Overseas equivalent to UK
