Job Title: Production Operative / Packer

Location: Somercotes, Alfreton, Derbyshire
Job Type: Full Time - Temp - Perm
Salary: £11.44 Per Hour - Increase to £12.21 from April 1st 2025

Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable Production Operative/Packer to join our team. The role involves operating machinery, performing quality inspections on each product, and packing products efficiently to meet production targets.

Key Responsibilities:

* Operating Machinery: Set up, monitor, and operate production machines safely and efficiently.

* Heavy Lifting: Handle and move materials/products as required.

* Packing & Labelling: Ensure products are correctly packed and labelled for distribution.

* Quality Inspection: Check products for defects, ensuring they meet company standards.

* Health & Safety Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment.

* Teamwork & Efficiency: Work collaboratively with the team to meet production goals.

Requirements:

* Previous experience in a manufacturing/production environment is preferred.

* Ability to perform physical tasks, including heavy lifting.

* Attention to detail and commitment to quality control.

* Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions.

* Mechanically minded.

Transport is preferred due to client location however public transport is accessible.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday

08:00am - 16:30pm

Duration:
