QA Inspector

Annual Salary: £12.87 - £15.50 per hour

Job Type: Full-time, DayshiftWe are seeking a Quality Inspector to join clients fantastic team, who will be responsible for maintaining high-quality standards through thorough inspections and equipment management. This role is ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence in manufacturing quality control.

Day-to-day of the role:

Conduct goods inward inspection to ensure all materials meet quality standards.
Perform in-house inspection and shop floor patrol to monitor ongoing production quality.
Manage the calibration of internal measuring equipment using external accredited sources.
Maintain client MNC/CAR registers on customer portals.
Operate Mitutoyo CMM machine daily, with programming knowledge being advantageous.
Carry out final inspection and sanity checking of daily shipped parts to guarantee product integrity.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Experience in a quality assurance role within a manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with inspection techniques and quality control processes.
Ability to use and maintain a variety of measuring and inspection equipment.
Strong organisational skills to manage equipment calibration schedules.
Competence in operating CMM machinery.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to upholding quality standards.

Working Hours:

39 hours per week: 07:00 am - 16:00 pm (Monday - Thursday) & 07:00 am - 12:00 noon (Friday).
Overtime available, with enhanced rates for weekends
