Van Driver required

HireGiant are looking for a van driver for our client based in Derby. This is a National Client with sites all over the UK and they deliver fresh produce into pubs & restaurants.

The Van Driver Role:

The role of the Van Driver is to deliver fresh produce to customers on a daily basis. You will be required to take the produce direct to the customer, the packages maybe small parcels or bulk parcels that have to be taken on a dolly truck. This role is customer facing so communication and high customer service is a must. The van will be loaded & ready for the days deliveries by the warehouse, you must do a vehicle and temp check prior to leaving and MUST ensure the temperature of the vehicle is always within the food standards agency guidelines.

Requirements for Van Driver role:

* Must be able to work early starts and short notice shifts

* B Licence

* Hiz Viz

* Safety boots

* Physically fit

Hours & Pay for Van Driver role:

£11.44 - £12.00 depending on experience

Start times vary from 06:00am in the morning onwards.

The van runs are mainly Monday to Friday (there is extra work at the weekend for those who request it)
