Infrastructure Engineer - SC Cleared – 3 Month contract - £420 Per Day Inside IR35 - London

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced SC Cleared Infrastructure Engineer to join our client's fast-paced team on a 3-month initial contract, which is likely to be extended.   
As part of the VMware & Windows Server Team, you will play a critical role in the design, build, and implementation of VMware and Windows server infrastructures. The successful candidate will need a strong background in server technologies, particularly in VMware (v6 and upwards) and Windows Server (2008 and upwards), to support the business's data centre operations and ensure seamless project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Build and Configure VMware Servers: Deploy and configure VMware infrastructures (v6 and upwards) based on business and project requirements.
Windows Server Installation & Configuration: Set up, configure, and manage Windows Server environments, ranging from 2008 and upwards.
Virtualization Support: Support and manage virtualized environments, ensuring maximum uptime, performance, and scalability.
Data Centre Technology Management: Support the general operations of the data centre, including networking, storage, and security integration with VMware and Windows systems.
Project Engineering: Work closely with project managers and IT teams to ensure timely completion of tasks and project milestones.
Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all implementations, configurations, and system changes.
Troubleshooting & Support: Proactively identify, diagnose, and resolve technical issues related to VMware and Windows servers.Required Skills & Qualifications:

SC Clearance: Must have active SC clearance or be willing and eligible to undergo SC clearance checks.
VMware Expertise: Proven experience with VMware (v6 and upwards) in a production environment, including experience in managing and troubleshooting virtualized infrastructure.
Windows Server Experience: Strong expertise in Windows Server environments, particularly 2008 upwards (2012, 2016, and beyond), with knowledge of configuration, deployment, and administration.Rate / Details:

3 Month Initial Contract
Day Rate: £420/day (Inside IR35)
Location: London 5 Days a week
