Labourer/driver

Pertemps West Bromwich are looking for a labourer/driver on behalf of our client to assist kitchen installations nationwide!

Location: Oldbury with nationwide travel from the workshop
Pay Rate: £11.44 per hour
Hours: Start at 6:00 AM, 10-12 hour shifts (mid-afternoon/early evening finish)
Start Date: ASAP with initial trial day in factory

This role is essential in helping our skilled fitter with the transport and installation of high-quality kitchen worktops at client sites across the country. You’ll be working out of a Sprinter van, so flexibility with travel and a willingness to assist with driving is a must.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with lifting, carrying, and fitting of worktops at various locations.
Support the experienced fitter on installations.
Swap with van drivers as needed, so driving capability is a necessity.
Manual handling, lifting, and setting up of products.
Requirements:

Physical fitness – ability to handle heavy lifting.
Flexibility with travel and working hours – early starts and long days.
Manual handling experience – confidence working with heavy materials is ideal.
Position Details:

Trial day required – beginning with a hands-on assessment in our factory to ensure comfort with material handling.
Seasonal role – potential for continued employment based on performance.
