The Indirect Category Buyer will sit the in purchasing team, with excellent opportunity for career development.

Candidates who have previous experience purchasing indirect such as services, maintenance and HR within a manufacturing organisation will be suited for this position.

Role responsibility of the Indirect Category Buyer role:

Preparing executing and evaluating tenders
Negotiating contracts, driving and implementing contracts locally
Developing and implementing procurement strategies for local categories
Managing suppliers' relationships and conducting performance reviews
Controlling the spending and fostering the use of standard tools and processes in the region and act as a key point of contact for the sits procurements needs
Ensuring that the purchasing needs of technical goods and services are met
Developing and maintaining close and productive relationships with key stakeholdersPerson specification of the Indirect Category Buyer role:

A professional qualification in purchasing, such as CIPs or at least 5 years strategic buyer experience
Experience in purchasing indirect' s ideally services, site services, maintenance and HR
Experience using SAP
Strong commercial/ contract negotiation skills
The ability to build relationships, influence and gain corporation across all regions
A valid UK driving licenceSalary

£50-£55k
