My client a leading Freight organisation are now seeking an additional person for their smashing team. This position will commence in January 2025. Benefits include a smashing close knit work environment, 20 days holiday, 4% pension contribution, potential of an end of year bonus as well as healthcare and well being support. Working hours 8.30-5pm.

The successful candidate will have high working standards and have experience with Ocean imports- any air imports experience will be a bonus!

Role duties

Independent handling of shipments in the role of Ocean freight Imports in accordance with quality standards (among other things documentation, booking, shipment control, transport insurance, accounting and customs handling)
Customer support in conjunction with the Sales Department including occasional client visits when required
Handling of complaints in line with BIFA Terms and Conditions including correct KPI recording
Communication with the UK, Overseas offices and agents
Checking of job file reporting, accuracy and profitability
Focus on ensuring most cost-effective service solutions are being used without risk to service levels
