Overview

You will play a pivotal role in the manufacturing process by ensuring that the production plans are in line with the supply requirement plan and capacity of all resources, so warehouse and production runs efficiently and cost-effective. Continuously looking for possibilities to improve the production planning process.

R&R

* Review supply requirement plans, identify variances from previous plan and agree with supply chain.

* Create detailed daily production plans by SKU, department, commodity, tooling, equipment, etc. that align with supply requirement plans and ensuring that the products are manufactured on time to meet customer needs.

* Efficiently allocate all resources such as direct labour, indirect labour, raw materials, tooling, equipment, etc. to meet production targets. Assess the capacity of warehouse and production facilities and identify potential bottlenecks.

* Work closely with Material Planning to fully understand current and planned material availability.

* Act as a liaison between different departments, such as procurement, material planning, production, warehouse, quality, kit admin, transport, etc. to ensure smooth collaboration, communication, and coordination.

* Chair weekly production plan reviews with warehouse and production detailing resource capacity requirements.

* Create KPI reports, analysis results and follow up as required.

* Maintain and update relevant data in ERP system ensuring accuracy.

* Other duties as required.

Qualifications

* 3-years of Production Planning experience.

* Good level of education.

* Strong ability to analyse data, identify trends, and make informed decisions to optimize processes.

* Strong numerate skills.

* High level of accuracy.

* Effective at identifying problems and addressing possible solutions.

* Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain accurate records.

* Competent with MS Office applications and operating with ERP systems.

* Excellent verbal and written communication and influencing skills.

* Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with relevant departments and colleagues.

* Able to work reasonable overtime as required
