EMBS Engineering is currently recruiting a skilled Quality Inspector to join an exciting company located in Wolverhampton, working on a permanent basis.

Due to the nature of the work & industries supported within this position, candidates may be subject to requiring security clearances, therefore, our client is unable to support visa applications from residents outside of the UK. Only applications meeting this criteria will be considered.

EMBS Engineering is in partnership with an innovative engineering company located in Wolverhampton that manufactures bespoke components for market leaders operating in highly regulated industries.

Your responsibilities include:

*

Completing first off, stage, and final dimensional inspection on machined and/or fabricated components as a Quality Inspector

*

Raising Non Conformance Reports as necessary

*

Maintaining inspection and quality records in line with customer requirements

*

Using various manual measuring equipment to ensure the components meet both customer and industry standards

Successful applicants MUST be able to demonstrate:

*

Previous Quality Inspector experience in fields relating to Nuclear, Defence or Structural Engineering

*

Experience of carrying out inspections using manual measuring equipment such as verniers, shadowgraphs, micrometres, and gauges

*

Experience using metrology equipment - CMM, Romer or Faro arms would be beneficial

*

Previously inspected detailed engineering, metallic components

*

Reading and interpreting schematic drawings and specifications relating to Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing

*

Strong IT skills with programs relating to spreadsheets, word processing and databases
