Role Overview
In this pivotal role, you'll be an integral part of the teaching and learning process, working collaboratively with teachers to support students across various year groups. Your contributions will help create engaging lessons, lead small group sessions, and provide tailored support that empowers each child to thrive. Your Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging lessons and support across various subjects, working with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning.
Collaborate with classroom teachers to develop resources that meet curriculum objectives and enhance student engagement.
Monitor student progress, offering constructive feedback and adapting support to meet individual needs.
Lead interventions for students who require additional help, fostering their confidence and helping them achieve their goals.
Uphold the school's high standards while contributing to a positive and encouraging learning atmosphere.
What We're Looking For
HLTA qualification or equivalent: You should have experience supporting students in a primary school setting.
Strong understanding of the primary curriculum: You'll need the confidence to teach and lead small groups independently.
Excellent communication skills: You must be able to engage and motivate students effectively.
Adaptability and creativity: A proactive approach to supporting teachers and students is essential.
