An exciting opportunity has arisen to join MBDA's Sparkworks RF Directed Energy Weapons and Low Observability (Stealth) Integration and Systems Validation Team. This role offers the chance to lead world-class trials and testing capabilities that directly support the UK Ministry of Defence, playing a critical role in pioneering cutting-edge technologies.

The Opportunity

As the Integration and Systems Validation Lead, you will oversee the full lifecycle of diverse and fast-paced projects, typically spanning one to two years. The role focuses on hardware testing and model validation, but also encompasses pre-trial activities such as:

Defining and agreeing testing requirements.
Producing planning and safety documentation.
Developing and building test hardware.
Conducting trials, ensuring personnel safety, and writing post-trial reports.Trials range from small-scale screened room tests in Filton to multi-week offsite deployments in the UK and overseas. You'll act as the Trials Lead, responsible for all aspects of trial conduct, including health and safety.

In addition to project responsibilities, you'll contribute to maintaining and advancing MBDA's world-leading testing capabilities.

What We're Looking For

Ideally, experience in electronic design (preferred but not essential).
Strong understanding of trials processes and safety management.
Familiarity with the verification and validation (V&V) process and delivering programs aligned with Design Verification Plans (DVP).
Adaptability to manage shifting milestones and timescales in dynamic environments.
Willingness to undergo Developed Vetting (DV) Security Clearance.Please note: This role is restricted to British citizens only.
