Are you a friendly and organised professional looking for a part-time receptionist position? Our client, a global leader in speciality diagnostics, is seeking a Receptionist to join their team at their office in Edgbaston, Birmingham.
As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, providing a warm and welcoming experience. Your responsibilities will include managing the switchboard, coordinating taxi bookings, managing parking, and assisting with administrative tasks for various departments. You'll play a pivotal role in creating a positive image for our client.
To succeed in this role, you should have excellent communication skills, both in person and over the phone. Previous reception experience is preferred, along with strong organisational and customer service skills. It's important to be approachable, enthusiastic, and able to work autonomously.

- Start Date: 13/01/2025
- Working Pattern: Part Time (27 hours per week). Working Monday - Thursday 12:00 - 17:30 and Friday 12:00 - 17:00
- Hourly Rate: £11.86
Responsibilities:
Be the first point of contact for visitors, ensuring a professional and welcoming impression.
Manage the reception switchboard, responding to queries promptly and efficiently.
Coordinate taxi bookings and manage parking for employees and visitors.
Assist with admin support for various departments.
Maintain a professional and positive image for our client at all times.Requirements:
GCSE grades 4-9 in English.
Minimum of 1 year reception experience.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Strong organisational abilities and the ability to multitask.
