Shift Supervisor

Location: Swan Valley, Northampton

Hours: Monday - Friday | 14:00 - 22:00
Salary: £33,280 per annum (£16.00 per hour) + Quarterly Bonus

Are you an experienced Shift Supervisor looking for an exciting new opportunity? Our client has recently relocated to a state-of-the-art facility to support their continued growth and evolving business. They are seeking a dedicated and hands-on Shift Supervisor to join their team.

This is a physically demanding position, as many products are heavy and require regular lifting. The ideal candidate must be comfortable with this aspect of the role.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee shift operations to ensure an efficient workflow within the warehouse environment.
Support the Warehouse Operative team, ensuring adequate resources are in place to meet business demands.
Work as part of the team, assisting with picking and general warehouse duties as required.
Operate MHE equipment including Reach Truck, Counterbalance, and PPT.
Ensure pick and pack operations meet agreed SLAs while maintaining accurate inventory records.
Manage safety procedures and optimise warehouse processes to improve efficiency.
Minimise stock loss by ensuring accurate put-away, replenishment, and bulk movements.
Conduct quality control checks on inbound and outbound deliveries.
Maintain a safe working environment, performing daily inspections and audits.
Ensure warehouse operatives wear and use the appropriate PPE at all times.Skills & Experience Required:

Strong understanding of logistics operations and warehouse procedures.
Valid & in-date FLT/MHE licences (Counterbalance, Reach Truck, and PPT).
Proven leadership skills, with the ability to lead by example and motivate a team.
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
Ability to prioritise, multi-task, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Experience supervising small teams or processes in a logistics setting.
Drive and determination to meet and exceed SLAs and quality targets
