Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting the production team, ensuring smooth operations and efficient processes. Your key responsibilities will include:

Assisting with production planning and scheduling
Coordinating production milestones and ensuring deadlines are met
Monitoring inventory levels and liaising with suppliers
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimise production processes
Supporting the implementation of quality control measures
Assisting with data collection and analysis for performance evaluation
Handling administrative tasks such as preparing reports and maintaining documentation

Knowledge, skills and qualifications required:

A relevant degree is preferable, either engineering, mathematics or science
Naturally enquiring mind: solution orientated and keen to improves processes
Strong organisational and multitasking skills
Excellent attention to detail to track and analyse high levels of data
Proficiency in MS Office suite
Effective communication and collaboration ability

Desirable knowledge, skills, qualifications required:

Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
Experience with ERP systems
Understanding of health and safety regulations in a manufacturing environment

Technologies used in this role:

MS Office suite, particularly Access and Excel
ERP systems
