The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and an thorough understanding of customer service requirements. Being adept in the interpretation of technical drawings with a high calibre of attention to detail.

Duties & Responsibilities

* Create detailed quotations from customer drawings/models for existing & new customers maintaining a high standard of service

* Maintain/improve on existing customer relationships & develop new customers in order to improve the service macs laser offers its customer base.

* Converting successful quotes to orders & producing workflow job sheets along with production drawings

* Communicating with customers about order progress

* Supporting all members of the team in growing the business in line company’s vision.

* Excellent communication & interpersonal skills

* Outgoing & friendly both in person & telephone manner

* Able to read & interpret engineering drawings

* Excellent attention to detail

* Good organisational , numeracy & computer skills

* Hard working & trustworthy

* Knowledge of laser cutting & sheet metal

Desired

* Knowledge of cad design systems (SolidWorks , radan , sigmnest) would be advantageous.

* SAGE 50 Experience

* Driving License

* Fabrication and press brake experience

* Design software knowledge (SolidWorks)
