Job Title: Behaviour/SEMH Specialist

Location: Leicestershire

Salary: £85 - £90 per day

Type: Full-time, Term-time only

Working Hours: 08:30 - 15:30, Monday to Friday

Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behaviour/SEMH Specialist to join a School school in the Coalville area. As a 1:1 Behaviour/SEMH Specialist, you will support a pupil with SEMH and challenging behaviour. You will also be responsible for ensuring he remains on task within the classroom. This is a full time role for at least 6 weeks.

Responsibilities:

Offering support to pupils on a 1:1 basis within and outside of the classroom.
Monitoring behaviour, identifying and addressing challenging behaviour.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with the pupil.
Providing guidance and support to the pupil, ensuring their welfare is protected.

Requirements:

Previous experience working as a teaching assistant, learning support, or working with challenging behaviour.
Reliability and stability for the pupil.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
The ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.
A caring and nurturing personality.
A strong understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures.
A valid DBS check.
