Complete Classroom Services are looking for proactive, encouraging SEND Teaching Assistants to work on a full-time basis in a SEND Primary School in Gillingham, Kent.

This is a Primary School for children with a wide need including ASD, SEMH and Complex Learning Difficulties.

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will provide general and 1:1 support to students promoting positive engagement ensuring smooth and purposeful lessons are conducted to the highest quality and addressing all student’s individual learning needs.

If you have experience working with special educational needs (SEND), ASD, SEMH using PECS or Makaton this will be beneficial to your application.

Requirements:

* Excellent communication skills

* Experience with SEN is essential

* PECS or Makaton trained beneficial

* Experience working/volunteering with children or young people beneficial

* Childcare qualifications or a recent Graduate degree beneficial

* Required to complete vetting to work within a school setting essential
