What We're Looking For
We are seeking a teacher who:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (this is a must-have requirement).
Has experience working with children with SEN in a primary school setting (experience with ASD, ADHD, or other learning needs is highly desirable).
Demonstrates patience, empathy, and creativity in their teaching approach.
Can adapt lessons to meet diverse pupil needs, ensuring inclusivity and progress for all.
Works collaboratively with parents, carers, and external professionals to support each child's development.
Your Role
As an SEN Primary Teacher, you will:
Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to the individual needs of pupils with SEN.
Assess and monitor progress, creating individual education plans (IEPs) where needed.
Foster a safe and positive learning environment that promotes independence and confidence.
Collaborate closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and other professionals to provide holistic support.
Build strong relationships with parents and carers to ensure effective home-school collaboration.
