* Possesses a deep passion for English language and literature, with the ability to inspire and motivate students of varying abilities across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.

* Is an effective communicator and collaborator, fostering positive relationships with colleagues, students, and parents.

* Embraces innovative teaching methodologies and assessment strategies to ensure student progress and engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

* Design and deliver engaging and challenging English lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.

* Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with the National Curriculum and school's educational philosophy.

* Assess student work and provide timely and constructive feedback to facilitate continuous improvement.

* Participate actively in departmental meetings, collaborative planning sessions, and professional learning communities.

* Contribute to the broader school community by participating in extracurricular activities and events.

Qualifications and Experience:

* Bachelor's degree in English or a related field.

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.

* Proven track record of success in teaching English at the secondary level.

* A strong command of grammar, vocabulary, and literary analysis.

* Experience in preparing students for GCSE and A-Level examinations.
