Our client, a software provider in both the Utilities and Pharmaceuticals sector is hiring a Business Analyst on a permanent basis for their team based in Gateshead. They operate a hybrid working scheme with 2 days per week in the office.
Responsibilities include:
- Work with product owners to analyse industry and customer driven change proposals
- Produce clear and concise software specifications
- Translate business requirements into detailed specifications
- Provide advice on aspects of system design where there may be change
- Represent the customer / business to the rest of the team to help priorities
workloads
- Collaborate with the project teams on various facets of the project, specifications
and design functions
- On occasion, assist with testing scenarios where in-depth input in needed
- Working with the team to grow the development of the Business Analysis Practice and
promoting best practice and developing new processes in line with industry standards
Skills and Experience required:
- Proven experience of capturing and documenting customer requirements, creating
detailed software specifications
- Microsoft Azure DevOps experience to capture requirements
- Strong MS Office skills, in particular Visio, PowerPoint, Excel and Word
- Attention to detail
- Experience of working on projects simultaneously
- Solid Analytical skills with an interest in data and systems
It would be highly desirable if you had experience in Digital Transformation (Microservices), experience of the SDLC in an Agile environment, data modelling and any utilities experience.
