About the Specification Technologist - hybrid job
The purpose of your role will be to complete specifications on web-based retail specification systems including all supporting documentation.
Key tasks
* Prepare and maintain internal specifications including all supporting documentation whilst maintaining and updating supplier assurance systems as required.
* Check artwork to final copy ensuring packaging information is correct and legal for new and existing product development.
* Update / maintain hard copy and computer-based files.
* Request ingredient and packaging specifications, ensuring they are correct and available when required.
About You
* Educated to a degree level within a food related discipline is desirable.
* Food industry technical experience with knowledge of writing product specifications using retailer systems.
* Food legislation understanding.

The Specifications Technologist job is based in Essex and is paying £30,000 - £35,000.
The role is hybrid and requires 2 days per week in the office.
The working hours are Monday to Friday, office hours.
