Masterclass are working in partnership with a group of SEN schools across the Shoreham and Worthing areas who have now opened recruitment for a September start!

There are multiple positions available working either in a primary or secondary setting. The needs of the students massively vary but in general the schools cater for a wide range of ASD, complex needs, moderate learning, severe learning difficulties as well as those that can present more challenging behaviours.

The schools are larger than average SEN Settings with modern facilities and the friendliest staffing body who are always willing to go the extra mile for the students.

The roles are Monday - Friday, 8.30 -3.30, term time only. (Bank positions also available)

Your Day:

You will be based in a class of roughly 10 pupils which are fully supported with a teacher and another three teaching assistants. Your day will be varied and may include sensory activities, motor skills, curriculum based learning, swimming, forest schools as well as huge amounts of other activities! A focus on development both academically and personally is important.

The ideal candidate will have a kind, caring nature, be familiar with the needs of children who have additional needs, be resilient and have a can do attitude!
